Museum of the Marine Corps

Post by pvreditor »

I live near Washington, DC, and it has more world-class museums than most cities. Even better, most of these museums are free. One interesting free museum about 25 miles (40 km) south of the city is the Museum of the Marine Corps, which chronicles and documents the history and achievements of the US Marine Corps. I went to this museum a few days ago, shot a bunch of video, and finally assembled it into a finished overview of the museum. Here it is:

That's me doing the introduction and narration, except for the speaking done by a World War II veteran starting about three minutes in. I used an inexpensive digital camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS20) and edited it using VideoStudio x4. FWIW, I am a US Army veteran and was never in the Marines.

Enjoy!
