Hi All
I have created a file in photoimpact saved it as a .WMF & tried to import it into cool3d studio its telling me that " the import command only works with closed path data.Unable to find a closed path in this file"
can anyone please explain what i have done wrong?
i have done a search but cannot shed any light on it

I've tried several times to get C3D PS to accept a file saved as a WMF in PI, however it seems that either C3D PS is seeing that PI does not use or save the WMF as closed paths, or PI actually can not save WMF closed paths. EMF is generally a better choice to use, however PI is not able to save to that format.
My suggestion would be to save your image as a jpeg or bitmap (bmp) and then use C3D PS import graphics and convert to vector to get your images into C3D PS. Here's a Shortie tutorial that may help on how to do this with C3D PS..

that seems a bit daft two Ulead product the are not fully compatable someone made a *** up LOL converting into vector is fine for basic shapes ect but i made up a logo for our club for the web site & thought it would look good spinning or turning slow i have done this a few time through the path editor (it worked quite well) but not this time? never mind back to the drawing board as they say
