The X3 has this copy & paste bug with small pictures.
I see this all the time. Can't remember did it also happen with X2.
copy some area with lasso in pic that is 16x16 px
now paste in place and move near bottom
right when you click right button to embed the selection - part of it is gone.

Re: copy and paste placement bug
selecting and deselecting part of the image is causing the bug also (1px is deleted at the bottom)

Re: copy and paste placement bug
I have a video of my own that's overly lengthy, as a long winded fool tongue ties himself to trying to explain what he's thinking (a.k.a me).
I think I know what the error is.

Re: copy and paste placement bug
Yes, and thank u LeviFiction, now we have detailed explanation about this bug, hope Corel engineers are looking at this video now,
, there was another bug, but think
they fixed it in SP4 ( psp crashing when moving guides, now seems that this is working better, and our PSP has better so called 'stability'.... )

Re: copy and paste placement bug
No April Fools joke ... Got word today that Corel fixed this bug with a patch applied over Service Pack 4. See PSP X3 KB article 000005465 - In some cases, pixels along the bottom edge of a selection are dropped. Thanks to Corel for fixing this!!

Re: copy and paste placement bug
It would appear that code that once worked in prior versions now cause out of memory issues and even application level crashes in X3.jukka wrote:so this was also in another post http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... &view=next

Re: copy and paste placement bug
For out of memory errors patch #3 should have fixed that. If you haven't patched your program you may look into that. The patches need to be installed in order, all of them (#1 is included in #2 but the rest are separate patches entirely). If you're still having problems please see my post at http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 93#p230493
