An AC-3 audio plug-in was available for Video Studio 8 ... Yep, at $29.99 and it looks like the ver 8 is not usable in version 9 ...I've searched the web site ... and plug in's .... and it seems one is not available for VS version 9 and product discription doesn't say anything about AC-3 available in ver 9 ... is this just a version 8 feature ??? or is one available for version 9/ somewhere?

AC-3 audio is a feature of VS9 now. Read at the bottom of the features, you'll see Dolby Digital output:
