Importing video formats to studio 9
When I attempt to mix still pictures with video in my project only the .avi video format works. I have .mov video format that I need to use. How can I integrate .mov formats in VideoStudio 9?
MOV is a supported format that you can import into VS9. If you search the forums you will also see that some of us have experienced various problems with the MOV files in a project. I convert the MOV files to MPEG1 files using TMPGEnc. I don't convert to MPEG2 only because I do not have that portion of the program, but MPEG1 works fine for the little bit of MOV work that I do.
I know that doesn't directly answer your question, but it may help you understand, if you are having issues, that you are not alone and can find some answers with a search on "MOV".
On your issue with stills in your project, can you be a bit more specific on the problem that you are having, and your project and system specifications. I have put in a number of JPG files into my projects by dragging them into the timeline and have not had any issues, so I think a little more information may help get you an answer.
