I finally got to capture from my dv but i find when i have made a svd the picture seems to flare when there is movement.
How do i stop this please

Compression: MPEG-2 8000kbps
Comp Rate: 30%
Frame Rate: 25000 Frames/Sec
Total Frames: 1102 Frames
Audio
Fromat LPCM Audio
Attributes: 48000Hz, Stereo.
When I have the file in timeline, I then chose The "SHARE" button,chose :create disc
I then gave it a file name, Chose save, then in output disc format chose VCD, chose next, I then just used the current menu template. From there I went to the burn page and pressed output button and made the VCD.

I'm not sure what you mean by flare, but the most common problem with movement is a field order discrepancy between the capture and output formats. Since analog TV signals are interlaced and displayed as two half-frames, if they are displayed in the wrong order, there will be visible tearing during horizontal movement.
