Convert mp2 video to mp3 audio

I have recorded several mp2 video with audio from a Pioneer DVD/CD/Karaoke player captured with an ATI All-In-Wonder card.

All I want from the mp2 file is the audio in mp3 or wav format.
I was able to do this with and earlier version of Ulead Video Studio.
I am currently using Video Studio 5.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Place your mpeg-2 in the timeline. Click Share, and you will see 'Create Sound File' in the top left of screen (below Create Video File). You can choose between WAV, MP3, WMA and Mpeg layer 2 formats.
