Nature of the problem
I have recorded a TV programme on my DVDV recorder. I have then taken the DVD over to my computer, and attempted to import from the DVD. This results in an MPEG file being saved.
However I cannot seem to acquire audio with the .mpg file.
The .mpg files play with sound when imported into Windows Media Player, and other applications.
Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD): DVD
PAL or NTSC : Not the North American standard
Error Codes (if any): Nil
System information (please fill this up in your User Profile).
DVD Workshop 2 Trial - No Audio in MPEG file
How did you convert to mpg? WS2 is an oldish program and there are now better import methods in MF4 and MSP8. However, are you sure the DVD is properly closed?
