unable to load Vstudio 8 upgrade
Hello, I have a problem, loading Vstudio 8 upgrade. my system is a intel pentium4 2.4Ghz 533MHz bus.with windows XP 2. I loaded the upgrade disc in my pc, press the repair button and it loaded up as normal, when I went to start the program, I had a error box come up U32fg, The security information is invalid or has been modified. This program will be terminated.any help in this matter would be great thanks alan cain

Not sure which 'repair button' you are referring to (in Control Panel > Add/Remove software???) or what relevance it has to installing an upgrade. Normally, you just start the upgrade disc, and it will want to see if there is an earlier version of VS on the computer -- even an installation disc of the earlier version will do -- and will then proceed to install a totally new version of VS 8. In other words, nothing to repair...
