How to make text only top level menus

Post by dkarleskint »

How does one go about making top level menus that have the buttons as text only. I would like to create a menu with some choice like "play", "special features", "infomation". The play button would initiate the playing of the movie. The special features would be a sub menu that may have outher videos as chapters and the information button would simply point to a video that contains text.
Can anyone help?

You can, but not with VS9. This has basic authoring ability only; that kind of control can be (easily) found in a more advanced program. Others may correct me, but I think DVD Workshop would be what you are looking for. (At a considerably higher price, of course  )

dkarleskint,

I'm not sure about this, but I know that you can "edit" and create menu templates using Ulead's PhotoImpact. Perhaps instead of creating a button, you could create text instead. See http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=9489 for a tutorial on how to do this and download the trial version of PhotoImpact 11.
