Error Code 8004145d

Post by airwalk331 »

I make my menus and add my video files etc. but when I click burn to finalize it etc. It goes for a bit and then I get this:

"Unspecified error. Error Code 8004145d".

Can someone help me? What does this mean?

After I click the "BURN PROJECT TO DVD" button it begins going (not burning but compressing doing whatever it has to just before it burns) and then just before it starts to burn this comes up:

"Unspecified error. Error Code 8004145d".

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Is that clear enough?

Please update your profile page with your system specificiations.
As Devil has quite rightly pointed out we need to know a bit more.

At the moment its a bit like saying my car will not start, why?

OK, I updated my profiled with my system specs.

All of the settings (when you click the burn button on the finish tab and the window comes up with the 2 tabs- settings and advanced settings- are deafault.

And please don't double post.............

I had this error message when using rw discs with my older sony burner, and never found a solution, but it disappeared when I added a newer sony burner. Never had the trouble with normal R discs.
List your pc specs inc the burner and age of it etc.

Sorry about the double posting.

Interesting though, hmm. I was using dvd+R's. How can i find out what my dvd burner is (in terms of +r or -R etc.)?
