Hello,
I just purchased Workshop 2 upgrade software from V 1.3. When I attempt to install the new version I get a pop up box that states you need various earlier editions to install, which I have and it kicks me out.
The ULEAD website does not show my Workshop 1 as being registered even though I have done so. When I try to re-register it says it is already registered.
I'm guessing it won't allow the upgrade install because for some reason my earlier version is not recognized???
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks
Greg

This sounds like the kind of thing CUSTOMER SERVICE should be able to help you with. You'll probably need to give them the serial numbers for both products.

Is v. 1.3 actually installed on the same computer? If not, it will ask you where it is when you try to install the upgrade. You can then put in the original 1.3 CD-ROM in the drive, exit from the splash screen and then tell the new WS that the old one is on your CD drive. It should then install correctly. AFAIK, unless Ulead have done something queer, serial #s should not come into it (other than typing in the new one, of course).
