"Unknown media" message when trying to burn

I had been using Movie Factory 4.03 for months with Memorex DVD+R disks without a problem. I use them to record some cooking programs that I have recorded on ReplayTV. I download the segment, choose it to load in Movie Factory as a project, make a title, and then burn it directly.

Something has happened to change that and I do not know what. Now, when I build content for a DVD and load my DVD+R to burn the program (Memorex, and I have successfully recorded on this batch about 15 times), on the last window when I am setting up to burn, when I put in the blank DVD+R, the "Empty" changes to "Unknown Media" and I cannot burn the disk.

I have been getting around this by writing an image and then burning it with DVD Decrypter, but if there is some simple setting I can tweak, I can save myself a step or two.
