How do I copy the date over to a capture file

Does anyone know how, or even if you can capture the date and time stamp from the camcorder to a capture file. I have been trying to work this out for ages and have a pile of tapes to copy. pleeeeeease help me!!

You can't do it within UVS as it stands - you need an additional plug-in which you can obtain here :-
