Gif Animator 5 Freezes when I try to convert an Avi to gif. Its only like 43 seconds but it just locks up.
it has been frozen now for about an hour and a half and all i did was try to "save as..."
i thought maybe it took a while to render or whatever, but this is rediculous.
any help is greatly appreciated!
sys specs are:
3.2 intel P4
1GB RAM
Winblows XP SP2
nVIDIA 5600go FX
Im using the full version of Gif Animator 5
never upgraded, first install

Just how many frames have you got there? Usually when people try turning AVI or other video files into GIFs they don't delete any frames. It may be choking due to the sheer file size. A smaller image area (pixels) wouldn't hurt, either.
I haven't had GA 5 crash on my machine yet, but I keep animations down to the minimum for frames.
