Providing you have some patience you can do this as folows.

1. Create Menu Page 1.
2. Create Menu Page 2.

Save as still images both of these menu pages.
Now open up an editor such as Video Studio or Media Studio and import both images, apply a transition between the two and render a short video file of just one or two seconds.

3. On Menu Page 1, edit the playlist button that takes you to menu page 2 so that it plays your little video and then goes to Menu 2.

It can be done as I did this some 8 - 9 months ago as an experiment
it does take a little bit of tweaking to get it right but when you've done it once it's easy to repeat the process for other "page turns"

Nice tutorial...

I'm trying to find as much information as I can... but I don't think anyone is going to reply to my other thread, so...

is this something that can also be done in Workshop Express?

I don't have a copy of Workshop Express but I would have thought that it too would create MPG files of the Menus.

Its then simply a matter of using those generated MPG files in the same manner as any other MPG/AVI clip trimming and joining with transitions.

Provided Workshop Express also supports playlists you would be able to do it.
