I finally was able to pick up a HIFI VCR so I can start converting my old stereo videos to DVD. I have had the DVD Xpress and the MF3.0SE for a while now and have only now just begun to use it. I captured an old VHS that was a little over 2 hours long. Now I'm (as I type this) going through the process of using MF3.0SE in hopes of converting the file I catured to DVD. The problem I have is that the status shows about 77% and it's been working/grinding away on this file now for almost 6 and a half hours! Is this normal? Are there some changes to settings I should make? I've never done this before and am kind of stumbling my way through this. I hope that after this marathon effort the disc actually comes out, but if not. is there a "Video to DVD for dummies" or something that would help with the hardware and software I have? I can't imagine that it should take this long to convert one file.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
