When I transfer images from my DV, they appear with horizontal stripes with every movement.
I can't find the solution from all the other msgs. Pls. help. Thanks.

From what I have gleaned from other users, I tink this is a result of field order mismatch. Check the Field Order of your project, and any files you are making from it.
Capturing from DV is usulaay Lower Field First, or Field Order A if you have VS7.

I'm not too sure how to change it. Is it from the File - Project Properties? I had no problem when I used the Trial Version for Video Studio 8. Now I have the real thing and it has problems.

Hi

Are you capturing via Firewire to Dv-Avi ?
From File / Preferences select ‘Show messages when inserting first video……………’
Start a new project.
Capture to VS
You should get a message asking to change the project settings to match the video,
By clicking details you can view the settings.
click YES.

Your project and capture settings are now the same.
And can be viewed from File - Project Properties
