attachments downloaded automatically from web sites

I received an attachment that I opened with Ulead photo explorer 8.0. I saw the image and noticed the previous image icon could be clicked, so I did. I viewed about 50 more pics, some I recognized, others I did not. These Pics were not large, about 1 and 1/2 inch square.I recognized some images were from the internet. I don't want to automatically download images that other people may see by accident when I email images as attachments. Is there a Ulead default setting that I can change in order to avoid this??
