shaked,
did you ever had a look in your MSP manual, the *.PDF on your hard disk, or did you ever pressed F1 (This is the HELP key) to get help in most windows programs.

shaked,

be shure - it is there.

But i don't know how it is called in your (english?) version, because i use a german version.

Look for something alike "Make or create video" in the file-menu (fourth block from top) or within the helpfile
as well as in the help file under file menu commands.

In addition there exist a button in the top menu line (but only, when you have clips on the time line).

How did you fix the problem with the transition?

Hi Shaked

I seem to be having the same problem you initially discussed in this post, How did you fix the transition problem?

Thanks

pupcoec,

Make sure that the end of the first video overlaps the start of the next video on tracks A and B. The transition goes in the fx track at the spot where the two videos overlap, like so:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA________________AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
___________TTTTTT________________TTTTT___________
___________BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

Make sure the direction of the transition, A->B or B->A is set correctly.

Hope that helps.

Thanks klowther

Your reply helped me to understand transition effects better in MSP however the problem seems to be persisting. What happens is when i add a second clip to either the A or the B track and I try to preview the video it plays fine until i reach the point where the second clip should start. At this point the audio usualy continyes as normal to the end of the preview (occationaly it clicks) but the video stops and freezes on the last frame.

when I export it as a video file it plays back fine.

Please can you help

thanks

pupcoec,

seems that your preview settings are not optimal or there is a hardware problem with your grafik card.

Did you had a look to the Ulead tutorials on their webside?

You should be aware that transitions can play funny tricks if they are not snapped precisely to the overlap. If in doubt, zoom the timeline to frame in filmstrip mode. Also, a gap in the video of just one frame can also do some applecart upsetting, if care is not taken. Use Search|Find empty time slots to eliminate them.
