Subtitles

I have installed Ulead DVD Movie Factory 4.04 and am trying to record some films, in the .avi format, as a video dvd. Although this is easy to do, I don't know if it's possible to add subtitles, which I already have in .srt or .sub format. If anyone could explain me if it's possible, I would be very thankful.
