No Sound after burning avi to dvd

HI I’m using movie factory 3.5 that came bundled with my DVD hardware,
The problem I’m having is properly converting avi format to DVD format. My results are a changed aspect ratio and no sound. The original is 16X9 widescreen and the conversion is a stretched 4X3 no sound.

How do I get the software to do it right?
