can i auto-enhance only a section of a clip?

the auto enhance worked well on a darkened bit of video, but for the rest of the video it looked horrible (compared to the non-enhanced version) it made it very grainy.

Is there some way to tell it to only enhance from say 25 minutes to 40 minutes into the clip? etc
