Camera angles???

Post by P21edit »

Is it possible to change camera positions within a sequence? I'm trying to place keyframes to change camera positions but they're not sticking. In essence, I'm only changing the view at the current position not within the context of the sequence. Any help is appreciated!

I do not exactly understand what you want to do, but here goes

Under the attribute menu, you can select the camera lens or distance while looking at the X-Y plane. This is controllable only in the X-Y plane and the settings are quite simple, go the frame where you want the distance/lens is going to be changed and just change it in C3D PS edition. This creates a keyframe immediately.

Your topic headings is camera "angles" which would meant you want to pan left or right.
You got to understand (which I took some time myself) while looking at X-Y plane, you are simulating the panning left or right by changing the orientation. via X/Y/Z positions. E.g. You want to simulate panning left, you orientate the object right 90 degrees. (kindof of inverse rule)

Hope either of my inputs helps you out.

Oinky,
Thanks for the input. I'm sorry I wasn't as descriptive as I should've been. I was looking for the camera to move in 3D space (around to the back of an object). I guess simply rotating the object itself would offer that effect...I haven't worked on a 3D program since college, so I guess it'll talk some getting re-used to for me.
