Need Help! Why dvp?

Post by greystar »

Hi, I'm a video student and I just got my hands on media studio pro 7. I figured out how to use it, but I couldn't burn my project. I've never had this problem before with any other rogram.

It won't open my file because it is in dvp format, but it won't let me change the format. I can't export it to burn it because it just won't open.

My project is due in a few days and I really need help! If I can't find a way to burn it I'll have to re-do it in another program. I realize that I have no idea what I'm doing, but I've never had problems re-formating things. I also want to know why it puts it in dvp if nothing recognizes it.

Thank you for your help

Hey, Hey Hey, !!!!
What the heck are you trying to burn ?
A DVP project ?
Or I don't understand your question or you're completly confused.

DVP is the file extension that MSP uses but only to save the project itself!!!

If you want to burn something ( and I belive that for you burn is to put something on a DVD or CD ) you must first render a avi or mpeg or wmv (whatever format you like) then you can burn it.

Did I misunderstood your question ?
