FIRST PLAY ON DVDWS2

Can anyone explain how to add text and link video on first play. I know how to do it on the menu page but it seems like there is no option on first play. My goal is to have image come up with choice of play movie or scene selection as choice before menu page comes up.

I believe you may have misinterpreted what first play is for. It is used generally for things like logos, copyright notices and anything you wish to see before the first menu screen and not for menu items. To do what you wish, you have a first menu selecting the video etc. and you put nothing into first play (it is optional).
