I have tried to follow jchunter_2's helpful guide to using VS.
In one case only I have encountered enormous problems trying to create a video file. The original file is well over two hours long, so I cut off the last 45 minutes to bring it back to 1:45 and saved the project. When I first tried to create the file it would not recognise the new reduced size and kept saving 2:30. Now it runs up to about 16% and then starts the video playing which slows everything down accordingly and it never reaches the end (or haven't the patience to allow it to).
Is there some setting I have accidentally triggered that makes this file behave so?
Other files work normally when I create them.

Create Video triggers the video to play
