CD & DVD PSv3 - application won't launch. Help!

hi, last week my pc had some problems with spyware. I had to restore my Windows XP from the month of September to fix it. Now when I try to launch the PictureShow v3, it displays the splash screen for a second but the application never gets launched.

Any idea on how to fix this?

I'm trying to avoid re-installing the application.
