Tivo recorded DVDs

I am using the trial version of Ulead Movie Factory. I want to edit a DVD-RW used to record a TV program via my Tivo. Movie Factory does not appear to recognize the Tivo format.

Did you finalize the RW disk? I forgot to do it the first time and it wouldn't read the disk. It will work with Tivo, I do it all the time. I TIVO every Steelers game from the Sunday Ticket package and later transfer it to a DVD-RW on my DVD Recorder. I then take the disk and import the files into Moviefactory in the Add Media area by choosing the disk on the far right. Once it reads the info off the disk, you just tell it to import the files and presto, your capture file is on your computer and ready for editing.

Thanks for your reply. Since my initial attempts, I have learned to finalize my recorded DVD in order to edit it.
