When you burned the DVD, there is the option to include the pics onto the DVD as well in a seperate folder. If you have done that, check your DVD with Windows Explorer. Somewhere you should be able to trace that particular folder with all pictures in their original state.

I always use this option when making a slideshow-DVD in order to give that DVD as a present. Whenever he/she desires a photo-printout, I tell him/her that the pics are in their original state on the DVD in a particular folder.

Run the slideshow and press 'Prt Scrn' to make a screenshot and put it into your clipboard. In any Paint-Prog, press 'Paste as new image'. Of course, the resolution of the picture will be limited to the screenshot resolution.

Use some software DVD player like Ulead DVD Player to play the VCD and then use the Capture screen as still image feature to save the VCD screen as image.

Hope this helps.

Are you sure the pictures aren't on the VCD?
The default setting is to put them on the VCD.

I would search the VCD again looking for the .jpg or bmp
pictures.
Just a suggestion.
