problems with clips lagging

hi everybody. i use the sony hdr hc1 HDV camcorder and a powerful pc. when i caputure it and preview it on the screen of videostudio 9, both the audio and picture lags often, but when i see it later its sometimes fine. but today, it remained slow and the picture and audio lagged big time. the picture sometimes froze while audio continued or both just froze for a sec. there is also wavy lines around the picture and looks really bad. i even tried saving it and opening it again.

can anyone help me to solve this problem? thank you all and happy holidays!
