Version 9.0 crashes when trying to insert video

Post by Karenl39 »

Hi,

I am new at this and having mega troubles. I really am trying to search on this board before posting. I tried to follow the directions on how to burn a DVD, but whenever I get to the add video part, videostudio locks up and most of the time I have to reboot my computer. I have Windows XP and I have run all the updates on Version 9.0. The mpeg file is 7 gig so maybe that is it? Is that too large of a file to burn to a DVD?

Thanks,

Karen

I'm not sure but I think I read something in the latest update for VS9 that said it addresses this issue when inserting (or using) mpeg 4 video for the first clip on the storyboard, or something along those lines.

In any case, if your video is mpeg 4, it may pay to check into it.

We need more system spec's, file system FAT32 or NTFS?, free HD space, processor, RAM etc. Please fill in your details to show in your system tab.
