Hello - new to the forums but not Video Studio.
I have a question about audio, but first let me detail my video setup. I am working from mini-dv with two separate voice tracks, one recorded on the right channel during filming and the other on the left channel during filming.
I am going to edit the video and burn to DVD, and for the finished product I would like to have both voice tracks combined into one channel... basically stereo to mono.
My question is how do I accomplish this in Video Studio (version 9)? I do not see any options for accomplishing this during capture, and I cannot figure out how to make it happen when converting to DVD.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Brian Allen

I don't think you can do this with Video Studio, but you can export the audio to a WAV file, manipulate it with an audio editor, and then re-import it.
I use an audio editor called GoldWave ($50). It has a mix function which could be used to combine the left & right channels. I assume that Audacity (FREE!!!) could do it too.
