This is the first time I have encounterd problems with Ulead.
I use Video Studio 8 and then DVD Workshop to create menu's and burn discs
I have just been trying out my very first Dual Layer DVD and because these discs are still expensive I decided to capture,render, Author and burn to HD first to make sure everything is OK before burning to DVD disc.
I have done this many times before with normal files & project without a problem.
However the files for a Dual layer disc is obviously much larger.
I capture without a problem (in MPEG), render without a problem but when I try to "Burn" in Workshop it only gets to 80% and gives me the Error 8004138c...what on earth is this.
Anyway I thought there may be a problem with workshop so I tried the same proceedure in Studio 8 to burn it and I got exactly the same Error .
I tried to reduce the file size and reduces it to only 2 hours where previously I had 3 hours thinking this may be a problem but it made no difference.
Also DVD workshop does not give any indication that I am trying to burn a DVD9 (Dual Layer) disc as it still only has the same dialog box showing 60 mins for High quality, 90 min for good quality ect.
this is not good .
At the moment there seems to be no way i can burn my project to DVD
