Hi everybody, my first post.
I have just purchased “DVD MovieFactory 4 Disc Creator” programme.
Having down loaded it, I am now finding a problem with the programme.
When I capture the video to the Disc Creator programme on my Laptop via the Firewire I hear no sound from the Laptop. When I play the captured video back on the DVD player within the programme, before I burn it to Disc, I still hear no sound. If I carry on and burn it to Disc and play it back on a desktop DVD player or even on Windows Media Player on the same Laptop I have sound. Has anybody got any idea why I can’t get sound within the programme.
Project settings: Audio data rate 256kbps. Dolby Digital, 48 KHz, 2/(LR) Have also tried the Audio settings on LPCM audio (not sure what that means) but tried it.
Another thing I notice is when I am capturing the video in to Disc Creator and press "Stop Capture" it stops capturing and then immediately starts capturing again.
I had a free trial of this programme earlier which I later removed and it worked perfect, on the same laptop.
I are thinking of down loading the programme again, not sure what to do.
Hope somebody is able to help me with this problem.

Have you applied the latest updates to the program?
It fixes many issues.
If using Windows 2000 or Win_XP select the 1st link.
The first link is for Win_2000 or Win_XP.
The 2nd is for Win_98 or Win_ME.
After installing the update reboot the machine to load the new driver(s).

wrong link
you just gave me a hint on what might be causing my problem, I didn't
know that link 1 was for XP, if I remeber right I used link 2 because 1
was not connecting... if it is stated on their web page I must of missed it.
