Adding background music to slideshow using MovieFactory 4

Post by TinaW »

When I try to add background music to my slideshow (using the samples provided in the music folder of the program), I have trouble burning to VCD. The error message I get is "Convert step has got problems (4570), then "Unspecified error, Report ID:0x800411da(4570)". I have successfully burned the slideshow without the music, but would prefer it with it. I'm not very familiar with the program yet, so I don't really have much of a clue about what I'm doing? Any help would be appreciated.

It seems the error is in the music file conversion since you can burn
a slideshow without the music.

I've been using MP3's as my background music and use the
"Fit slideshow to duration of Music".
The program I've been using to create the MP3's is usually Nero.
I record them using a setting of 44,100 stereo 224kbs. The data rate
is probably to high for most people uses so you could us a lower
data rate.
If you can get some music from a CD and insert the music file as
a WAV file will probably be the most reliable method.

Hope this helps,
