Problem With Project Playback

All I have done is placed some titles and some music onto the time line and have played back the project a few times then all of a sudden it will just stop, The playback screen just freezes on the first title and flickers alot, the music continues to play and nothing else. The software does not crash, but this sort of thing has happened a few times.
Any ideas?

You don't give us much to go on -- nothing beyond a description of the problem.

I could surmise that your computer isn't fast enough, or that you don't have enough RAM, or possibly that you have a faulty installation of VS. Not worth going on unless you give details of your equipment and what the project properties are [File > Project Properties], etc.

My computer more than meets the requirments to use the software - RAM etc -

This is what I copied from file and properties - also I have not changed any of these settings yet since I started to use Video 8. - (so not sure if this has any affect or not)
PAL (25 fps)
MPEG files
24 Bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-PAL), 4:3
Video data rate: 6000 kbps
LPCM Audio, 48 KHz, Stereo

Computer SPEC - AMD Sempron 3100+ / 1 gig ram / NVIDEA Geforce 6800GT /

This is just basic info - let me know of you need more.
