DVD player can not read disc

Post by ronlaw »

I am working on a vidoe project containin 3 parts. The first 2 parts burned fine. The 3rd part can not be read by my DVD player. The settings are all the same. I have reburned about 6 times and still get the same results. I am using a Vidoe Studio 9 trial version with 24 days left. I want to try to redownload the trial, but can not access the ULead home page. The connection hangs for about 20 minutes then says it cannot find server. I can get every other internet site I try to go to. Any suggestions?

Perhaps a few more details on the project,

The length in time, the settings used, the file types incorporated?
Are the three parts accessed from a menu? Is this menu set up properly? Does it all work in the test preview?

The 3rd DVD is only 32 minutes long. I reimported the original disc, set the duration, added the menu and reburned. This time my DVD player did read it, but only 11 minutes. When I preview it in Ulead it all looks fine. I noticed on the burn screen, the lower progress indicator reaches 100% but has the message stating Fixating DVD?

Sorry is this 3 seperate dvds or 3 movies on one dvd?
What settings are you using?
What file types are in it?

It could be a fault in the way the files are set in the project so re-importing the originals each time will not solve that problem, so try remaking the whole disc from scratch.
