The shrink to fit feature in MF4 can comes handy quite often but take note of what happen to me recently. Last week I captured 3 hours of video from a VHS tape into full quality MPEG2 - total 7.5Gb. I want to burn this on a DL disk. After importing into MF4, it became 7.9Gb + some menu authoring it ends up as 8.2Gb. A DL disk can only hold at max 7.9Gb. So I use the Shrink to fit feature & the figure became 7.7Gb/ 7.9Gb available on disk. So I start the rendering & burning. After 4 hours, it finished burning successfully & I played it but the quality was no good. When I checked the properties, there was only 4.2Gb present on my DL disk. I have burned DL disks quite often but this is the first time I need to use the Shrink to fit & it turns out like this.
My MF 4 already updated to 4.03
