This is my first time using MSP7, in the past i used MSP6.5.
When i created a title clip on the beginning of movie and perform a instant playback, it can hear a distortion noise from those high pitched sound. example (Shouting or laughing). But if i removed title clip away, everything back to normal. I also discovered that when i created a title clip and perform a playback, that was a wave file create in MSP preview folder. If i play that wave file and it was a distortion noise where i perform a instant playback earlier. I'm editing a AVI format and capture from Sonv DV camcorder. This problem will not happen on MSP6.5.
I would appreciate someone would guide me. Thanks

Noise with high pitched
Sounds to me like a software conflict - what are your system specs and what other software is installed? Please be as detailed as possible. I have used MSP7.3 for several years with no Title-Audio issues.
Likely what is happening is a shared DLL file from another application is causing the problem but I need the system details to help.
Another possiblity is the DV audio on your camcorder is set to 12 bit and not 16 as it should be - this can cause issues as well.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your replied. I think you're right that you mentioned about the DV audio change from 12 bit to 16 bit. Because lately I have to 16 bit on my camcorder and having this disortion issue. But why can't use 16 bit audio? Is there any way to solve my problem because i can't re-record it again. Big thanks
