Video Studio 8 freezes up

Did anyone ever have a problem with Video Studio 8 frequently freezing up in the capture step right after capturing in the DVD format? If so, how was this resolved?[/b]

Did you mean the DV format, or after importing assets from a DVD? Is your UVS patched to V8.01 yet?

VS 8 freezing in step 2

VS8 freezes in the CAPTURE step when capturing from a Dv camcorder, capturing in the DVD format. I had already installed the latest patch.
