Making selections on the timeline using the keyboard only

Hi.. Is it possible to make selections on the time line using the keyboard only?

I use the mouse at present by going over the clip i want and left clicking to highlight it.

What i want to do is to remove every other clip where i have put a cut line by using the keyboard only.

I need to be able to select clip one using the keyboard which will then be highlight so i can delete it, then press a key on the keyboard to go to my next clip like you would with the page up and page down key but i require it to be highlighted at the same time

Does anyone know if this is possible or will i have to keep using my squeeky mouse??
