Screen Saver
I have VS9 and want to make a screen saver. I created a WMV file and exported it to movie screen saver. Problem is I want to share it with my family across the ocean. Does everyone have to own this software to look at my screen saver??

John,
I haven't used this feature before but I just tried it out. VideoStudio doesn't actually "make" a screen saver (.scr) out of the wmv file, it just automates the task of assigning the windows media video to be the screen saver. However it does use a file Ulead called uvScreenSaver.scr to load the wmv files. This is the actual screen saver. Your family has to have this in order to be able to use the wmv file as a screen saver. I'm not sure if this is available as a stand alone file or not. And I don't know what the policy is on sharing this file (uvScreenSaver.scr) with your family either. If you do a search on your computer you'll see where other .scr files are located under your Windows directory.
Hope this helps,
Ron G.
