Plugin Madness II & III Won't install with COOL 3D PS

I purchased COOL 3D Production Studio along with Plugin Madness II & III. COOL 3D seems to work just fine, although I lost all the nifty effects that were in the trial version (can I get those back?).

First of all, after launching the installer, it sits on the initial setup window at 99% for a long time. After about 7 minutes it errors out saying that it can't find C3D on my drive. What gives?
