Greetings to all ...
This is my first time on the list & currently trying DVD Workshop.
Have created a DVD with 19 Chapters, and linking each of these chapters via a text only menu. My problem is that half of the links go missing when the Project is burnt to disk, and the links that DO work are not able to be selected in order (using remote or keyboard on DVD or PC) as shown on the screen. I am using a highlight for each menu item. This problem is NOT evident using the simulator in DVD Workshop - it is only on burnt DVDs.
Is this a problem with the trial version that is fixed in the Full Ver? or is this something more sinister? Can I overcome this problem & how? My failure/success with this trial will dictate wether I go for the full package or not.
Thanks in advance
Jason
Chapter links missing from menu (on burnt DVD Project)
There is limit to the number of buttons on a single menu.... 'Can't remember what the number is. I've never put 19 on one screen because the font would be too small for my low-def TV. I usually have multiple "levels", with each menu having a NEXT and BACK button.
This may not be the issue, as you say it works on ths simumulation.

I'm not sure what you mean "in order"... Do you mean with the LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN remote-buttons? This should work as long as the buttons are arranged in-order on the screen. (Left-to-right, or top-to-bottom)....and the links that DO work are not able to be selected in order...
I would NOT assume that the retail version will fix these issues! Is this a problem with the trial version that is fixed in the Full Ver?
