I installed movie factory 4 on my new computer. The out put resulted in an output of wide screen. Just like when you rent a movie and watch the wide screen view. I have looked at the settings and do not know what I did wrong. I am fairly new and usually copy from a DVD made on my jvc recorder. I have been doing this all fall with kids football games this is the first time I have seen this out put. Can some one tell me what to change to get a full screen output?

Two things:
One, if you are capturing video using MF4, on the capture screen there is a drop down menu to select the quality and ratio of the capture, make sure this is 4:3, HQ will give you an hour on a DVD, the other setting (GQ?) gives 2 hours. GQ is perfectly watchable.
Alternatively, on the main MF4 screen, click the icon that looks like a cog at the bottom of the screen and check the ratio is 4:3
That should do it.
