Uninstalling PI 6.0 on Win XP?

Post by stevekphoto »

Hello All;

Now that I have PI 11 I've tried to uninstall PI 6.0, but have been unable to do so. I get the message: RPC call failed. Any suggestions? I could do it the hard way (manually) if I had a list of what files got installed where, registry keys, etc, but where do I get that?

Thanks in advance for any help

You could try to install PI6 again, and then uninstall it.
This often works for many programs that have failed to uninstall correctly.

Thanks, but I've tried reinstalling it, it didn't work. I got a reply from Ulread techsupport that involves deleting all the temp folders first, and then uninstalling it, I will try that & go from there.

Thanks again,

Steve
