ipe20 error in file u32file.dll
when I go to the file selection on the menu I get an "ipe20 caused an invalid page fault in module U32FILE.DLL" can anyone please help me with this? I have the system working on my computer running on XP but this error occurs on the system with win98 on. I am running photo express 2.0 SE

I get the window stating this problem, but I get it after another window tells me my scanner cable is not plugged in. I checked the USB end, and the end that is plugged into my scanner. They are both "in." I put that query to the person who used to work on my computer before I moved to Topeka. He is more knowledgeable than anyone I have found here so far.
I will let you know what he said. I think it had to do with installation of both the scanner AND the Photo Express program. It sounded almost as if it were a "don't let the right hand know what the left hand is doing" type of task! New board member and longtime user of PE version 2. I hoped the patches would resolve this. They didn't. They just crashed my computer.
