Frames in timeline greyed out

Post by ldifford »

Any idea why when in timeline view, even when zooming to 1 frame, I can't see each frame (I can see the first frame but the rest is "greyed out").

Greyed Out Frames In Timeline!

Post by dskaff »

 Being somewhat new at this video editing thing I have been trying to put my VHS Family tapes on DVD for the past six months. (have done about 8 DVD's). I thought I had the process down using VS 8 except for one frustrating thing. In the timeline I could only see the first frame. Thus I had to use Mult-Trim Video function to edit out unwanted clips. I thought this to be odd since the help files show a timeline with all frame in view so it dawned on me to seach this forum. (Did I tell you I can be quite dumb at times?) Low and behold I found this post that tells so simply how to fix the problem. Thanks much to you guys for helping me see the light. (I am taking my head out of the sand now!)

Life is just one big learning curve.

If you have been using VS for 6 months and thats your only query then you are doing very, very well.

Keep it up.
