Adding Chapters using VS7 Basic

I have been trying to add chapters to a video file but cannot seem to find the correct menu.

I am converting .wmv files to PAL VCD Mpeg files and then adding both video files into into one project. I have read through the manual but cannot locate the Create/Edit chapters menu.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

First click on "Share" then choose "Create Disc" - import your video to the 'create disc' timeline and the "Add/Edit Chapters" option will become available to you down the left side of the small preview screen in the 'create disc' window.

I have tried your suggestion but the "Create Disc" option is "greyed out" and I cannot select it - is there something I need to change in set up ?

This software came with a digital camera I bought - could it be a restricted version ?

Yes it could - please check by clicking on the little question mark at top right corner of the UVS window - from the drop down choose 'about Ulead VideoStudio' if the version is quoted as being "7 SE" then you have a Special (Simplified) Edition which will not burn any discs at all - You should however be able to export an mpeg2 file which you can use in any other DVD creating/burning package you may have..
